It's that time.

My hard drive is completely full. It's KILLING me to not be able to edit pictures or download any new programs. So I just caved and bought an external hard drive. Also, some other terrible news...the settings on my camera got messed up and I ended up taking a ton of photos that were totally out of focus. It was so sad because the kids had this adorable Valentine's day party. :( Live and learn right?

Dexter

How can you resist that sleepy face?? I love this dog. He's been in my life for the past two years and I can't imagine how sad and boring it would be without him. He's always happy to see me and never stays mad very long. Simply put dogs are better than boys. Actually, I'm waiting for a guy that's more loyal (and all around more wonderful) than Dex. Game on.

Facebook page

https://www.facebook.com/cehollandart

Just added a bit of photography to my facebook page. It's a bit of a new endeavor for me and I'm loving it. Photography feels like instant artwork to me=instant gratification. Perfect for someone with the attention span of a goldfish.

For serious...

I haven't done any serious art since December....Nor have I completely finished a single piece. The open-ended feeling is nice, but a habit to break.

Pricing

Most portrait work is priced 'per face' which is subject to change depending on the size and number of faces.

10x13- 100$ per face & 75$ for animal portraits

14x17- 175$ per face & 125$ for animal portraits

All these prices are very general. Just as there are no two faces alike, the amount of time and work put into each portrait will vary. So feel free to send me an email and we can talk about it!

FAQ:

How long does it take you to finish a portrait? "I like to give myself about two weeks, though sometimes it can be finished sooner."

Do you use pencil (AKA graphite)? "No, I use charcoal which is a much more difficult medium, but gives it a more dramatic effect! All portraits are then coated with a fixative to prevent smudging."
