I don't think there is anything more romantic than the beautiful French countryside... and castles!

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to." — Jim Jarmusch

I had the immense pleasure of photographing and filming this new member of my extended family :) Here's a little video I made for her mommy and daddy!

It's April already?? How on earth is this possible? I failed pretty miserably with my March-picture-a-day project. It's official. I'm a terrible blogger. I'm always impressed, and amazed when someone can blog about the mundane and make it sound interesting. My life consists mainly of work, sleep, pictures, friends, family, thinking about all the projects I should be working on and more sleep. For me blogging is going to consist of more pictures less words. So here's a picture worth 1000 words. Right?

Plus this is probably the cutest face I've ever seen. You can check out more pictures of this cutie by clicking on my facebook page. Be sure to "like" it as well!

New portrait and this week in pictures...

So this is what has been keeping me busy this week for the most part. This portrait is a gift to my dad of is father and mother. It's a little eery how much I resemble my grandmother!

And here's the rest of the week in pictures. Just some of my favorites.
