"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."

Leighton Grace 7/21/12
I had the immense pleasure of photographing and filming this new member of my extended family :) Here's a little video I made for her mommy and daddy!

Update
It's April already?? How on earth is this possible? I failed pretty miserably with my March-picture-a-day project. It's official. I'm a terrible blogger. I'm always impressed, and amazed when someone can blog about the mundane and make it sound interesting. My life consists mainly of work, sleep, pictures, friends, family, thinking about all the projects I should be working on and more sleep. For me blogging is going to consist of more pictures less words. So here's a picture worth 1000 words. Right?
